Project 1
A nice detached property on a good size plot but with small rooms.
We extended the living room and dinning room into the garden to extend them from
4 meters x 5 meters to 8 meters by 5 meters.
We also added a conservatory to the back of the living room.
These works were carried out in south east London.

Project 2
This was a 1930s built house with an attached garage.
We demolished the garage and erected a garage with the correct size footings to take a second story.
We fitted all structural steel work to leave ready for the new concrete extension to go on top.
After building the second story and pitching the roof all internal knock through were completed.
They gained a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom above the garage.
Once these works were completed you could not tell it was an extension as all of the finishes blended in beautifully. Another great extension carried out in southeast London.

This was a 1930s built house with a detached garage.
We demolished the conservatory and erected double story side extension
They gained a bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and a large living room of 10 meters by 4.5 meters.
Once these works were completed you could not tell it was an extension as all of the finishes blended in beautifully. This extension blended in very well using second hand roof tiles to match existing.
This was carried out in Eltham southeast London.

This extension was carried out in Chislehurst North west kent.
These pictures show you the semi detached house with 2 bays before the extension.

Show you the extension going up.
We used a mixture of thurmulite blocks and squint bricks to give a different effect on the corners. |
 |

|
This shows you the under flooring going in.
We also installed a megaflow system.
Once the pipes and trays go in for the under floor heating the floor gets screeded and tiled |

The builder's comment.
I love the small details like the creasing tiles used for the window sills and the corner squint brickwork mixed with the flat render.
Also the double glazed UPVC windows are set in hardwood frames.
Although this is a little more expensive it adds character and finishes it off lovely. |

Project 6 - Contempary Rear addition extension on a Victorian house
These are pictures of a Victorian house in Beckenham Kent.
|
 |
 |
First it shows you the existing property before any works has commenced.
We then had to remove a lot of the soil as the garden was a lot higher than the original patio areas.
Once we moved the soil we had to put retaining walls in that the client wanted rendered and turned into a seating area/ benches.
We then set out the footprint of the extension and started to cary out the build.
|
 |
 |
 |
 |
These show the extension finished.
You can see the back of the retaining concrete walls and benches.
|
 |
 |
 |
These are the concrete benches that we had built, which also have storage inside them.
The patio area and the seats for the benches will be made out of timber wood decking and are being done at a later date.
|
 |
This is a shot of the inside of the extension.
A bit hard to get other photos as it was now full of furniture from other rooms
This was a nice project to construct with the new and old theme.
Sometimes hard to meet the new straight crisp edges of the new extension with the old twisted character of the original house.
But we got there.
