We have seen many changes, some good and some bad, but these changes are going on all over the world every day and sometimes we need to carry on. As a youngster, I had spent many years riding my bike around the streets of Eltham, taking in my surroundings. After entering the building trade in 1989 I went on to buy properties in the Eltham area, renovating them and then re-selling them. This has given me great knowledge of how these buildings have been constructed. This is the knowledge that I brought to London and Kent Construction Ltd when I started trading in 1995, and we have used this information to our advantage to grow and help the residents of Eltham. Whether you need a loft conversion, basement conversion, house extension or almost anything to do with the building trade, we are here to help.

After living in Eltham for so long, I have discovered that it is a close-knit community with friendly and helpful locals. I have found it a safe and welcoming place where I have raised two children who enjoy living in the Eltham area. Now it’s my turn to give back to the community by providing a fair and loyal service.  Knowing that there is always complete trust when we work on your property and around your family. We want to be looked at as your trustworthy local builder in Eltham SE9.

What is London and Kent Construction Ltd doing for its local community?

We always use local resources and businesses to assist us when undertaking our jobs. This could be from the local DIY stores, printers, and stationery companies and using the local mechanic to fix our vans. We see it as giving back to our community, helping it grow and develop into a place that can help make a difference. Around 90 per cent of our staff are local,

We sponsor local charities whenever we can and find it fulfilling that we can help people, not just in the construction trade, but in the trials and tribulations of day-to-day life.

We recently helped out a local charity called ‘Rocking to Beat Cancer’ to put on a show at our local Bob Hope Theatre. They raised an astonishing £4,250.00 which was distributed to chosen charities. WELL DONE GUYS!

Men in Sheds Eltham SE9

Men in Sheds is a great charity. We have visited them and these guys loved getting together working as a team and producing some very nice items.  We donate small amounts of materials to them over the year.

Men in Sheds is a place where retired men can get together to chat and learn skills and also tinker around with tools and stuff and do some practical things for themselves and the community.

There are a few set up in the UK mainly by AgeUK (formally Age Concern and Help the Aged) and it’s great to see them flourishing. contact.[email protected]
